About Red Arrow Root Beer
Red Arrow Root Beer was a Michigan staple beverage in the 1950s and '60s, but it was phased out in the '70s. Folklore has it that it was a tribute to the Red Arrow Division formed from the Wisconsin and Michigan National Guards. Red Arrow is newly back on the market, boasting its trademark authentic root beer flavor with subtle notes of wintergreen and licorice for a very smooth finish. Red Arrow Root Beer is currently bottled by Orca Beverage Works at their "retro soda facility" in Mukilteo, Washington.

Literally the best root beer I've ever had in my life. Not to sound like a wine snob or anything, but this is the most complex yet balanced root beer I've had the privilege of tasting. I first had it in Alaska and brought some back for my brother and now we're both cracked on it. Shipping was reasonable and did take a little longer than I'm used to, but it's worth it, trust me.

I bought this gem and it was the one of the best root beers I have ever consumed in my life. The sweetness, spices, and scent is perfectly smooth. It is worth every drop in that bottle I can tell you that. If you want memoricaly good root beer, then this is the one that will make you crack open a cold one with your friends, family, or just by yourself if you hate sharing :)

I do like it, but it’s not my preferred flavor profile of a root beer. Red Arrow is 100% a wintergreen dominant root beer. There’s nothing wrong with that, and depending on how the wintergreen is prepared, or its quality, it can be a very enjoyable brew.

Hands down, this is in my top three root beers. Just a perfect valance of wintergreen and licorice, sweeter than I usually like, but strangely it pulls it off. Perfect carbonation, pleasurably smooth head, somehow manages to eliminate all fake or artificial tastes. Ice cold or warm, it’s hard not to chug this one.

Just finished this one off and from the very first long swig and prolonged delay to sip #2 this was amazing! One of the most delightfully long-lasting vanilla after-tastes I’ve ever encountered! And, of course, they use cane sugar as their primary sweetener. YES!
